This dressing dripping over an ice cold wedge of crisp iceberg or romaine lettuce, with some halved grape tomatoes is a great summer-time appetizer or lunch. I know that not everyone loves blue cheese, but if you do, this dressing is for you.

  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. minced red onion or shallot
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • pinch of sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c. blue cheese crumbles

Mix up all ingredients in a large jar. Makes 1 ½ cups.
